A Safe Place For Abused & Neglected Dogs
Ralph’s Place Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, was founded in honor of Ralph, a 14 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Ralph was adopted from a shelter at the age of 2. It was obvious Ralph had been horribly abused by his previous owners, X-rays of his spine showed blunt force trauma; he had a cracked rib; he cowered near people; and, for the first week of his adoption he lived under a bed and refused to come out. After a long year of patience, care, and building of trust, Ralph developed into the sweetest, most playful dog you could ever meet.
It became clear that more and more dogs like him needed a safe place to live and be loved. In honor of Ralph, we created Ralph’s Place to shelter the worst cases of abused and neglected dogs. Imagine a dog haven full of love, kindness, toys, treats, play areas, and more spoiling than any dog could hope for. The facility will provide veterinary care, grooming, rehabilitation, therapy, and adoption services.
Ralph’s Place is primarily supported by our partnership with Pooch Perks, a monthly subscription box service that provides toys and healthy, Made in the USA treats to subscribers. A portion from every Pooch Perks subscription is donated to Ralph’s Place.
Pooch Perks prides itself on being a socially aware company that is dedicated to helping abused and neglected dogs. The two founders of Pooch Perks own a combined 7 rescue dogs that were abused, abandoned, or neglected. The Company believes “Rescue” is a breed and encourages people to rescue the millions of dogs that reside in shelters across the U.S. Pooch Perks donates thousands of dollars per year to organizations like Ralph’s Place and other not-for-profit shelters that rescue abused and neglected dogs.
Save a Dog in Need
Your donation and that of other dog lovers like you will help build and operate a sanctuary for abused and neglected dogs. The facility will provide veterinary care, grooming, rehabilitation, therapy, and adoption services for dogs. Ralph’s Place Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization as designated by the IRS.
